Sophie Kiel is currently a junior at Calvin University studying Speech-Language Pathology. She loves getting lost in a good book and spending time outdoors, whether that's going for walks or soaking up the sunshine. WHen she's not busy with school, you'll likely find her hanging out with friends, making music, or working on a fun craft project. Sophie is passionate about walking alongside others in their faith and sharing the love of Christ. She absolutely loves working with kids and is so excited to see how God will move at camp this summer!
Elizabeth James- Elizabeth is a Grand Valley State University graduate with a double major in English and Elementary Education. During her time at Grand Valley she was also apart of the sideline and competitive cheer team and is a two time National Champion! She enjoys being outside, seeing live music and spending time with friends and family. She is also apart of the youth ministry program at her church. Elizabeth is super excited to be apart of the camp staff and cannot wait to have a great summer and share the message of God’s love!
Makenna Outwin - Makenna grew up in Cedar Springs, Michigan, and she currently lives in Grand Rapids. She is a senior at Grand Valley State University, studying social studies and Spanish for secondary education. Makenna plans to become a middle school or high school teacher and teach Spanish or History. She loves to read and collect books to put in her future classroom library. Makenna is also a member of the GVSU women's volleyball club and a volleyball coach at Impact Dynamic. During the summer, you can usually find her on the beach playing sand volleyball. She is so excited to meet this year's campers and lead them through a fun, Christ-filled summer!
Ty Zuiderveen- Ty Zuiderveen was raised in West Michigan in a loving community of family and fellow believers. Ty is currently in his second year at GVSU for elementary education with a concentration in English, and is hoping to begin his apprenticeship next year. Ty’s faith in Jesus Christ guides and permeates every aspect of his life, including his views on working with children.
Cade Isenhoff- Cade is a 2024 graduate of South Christian High School and is planning to attend Calvin University this fall and study secondary education with a focus on history and government.  In high school, Cade was involved in sports and student council. He enjoys being out in nature. He particularly enjoys bird identification. He also enjoys spending time with friends and family. Cade is excited to be involved in Kids Rock camp for the first time this summer. He is looking forward to a summer of fun with the campers and positively impacting their lives.
Kate Niewek- Kate is a freshman at Calvin University, studying special education. She loves hanging out with her friends and family whenever she can. In her free time, she loves to be outside, playing tennis or pickleball. If she’s not at camp, she’s probably at the beach. In the summer one of her favorite things to do is go boating or paddle boarding on Lake Michigan. Kate is super excited for her first year at camp and can’t wait to share Jesus’ joy and love with everyone! 
Jace DeShetler- Jace graduated in May from Calvin University with his degree in Social Studies and History secondary education. While he was at Calvin, he played and coached tennis. He also graduated from Dutton Christian and Northpointe Christian High School. He enjoys coaching baseball and giving tennis lessons. In his free time, he loves to fish and play tennis and pickleball. Jace is excited to meet everyone this summer and share the love of Jesus! 
Maddie Bultsma grew up in Caledonia, MI, and graduated from South Christian High School in 2025. She is currently studying elementary education at Cornerstone University. Maddie loves spending time with friends and family, traveling, going to the beach or the lake, and playing sports. She especially loves volleyball, pickleball, and tennis. Maddie is super excited to work at Kids Rock this summer, have lots of fun, and share her love of Jesus with the kids!
 Brianna grew up in Grandville, Michigan, and graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a minor in Spanish in 2024. She then moved on and went for her Master’s Degree in Social Work, and is currently pursuing that degree at the University of Michigan. Brianna has numerous experiences when it comes to working with children, including working at Disney World! Brianna loves traveling, listening to music, watching movies, reading, and hanging out with family and friends! She is very passionate about working with kids, and absolutely loves Jesus! She is very excited about working at Kids Rock Summer Camp, this summer!
Mariah Bland- Mariah in the fall, is going into her sophomore year at Butler University, double majoring in Astrophysics and Astronomy and Physics. After school she hopes to go into exploration of exoplanets(planets outside of our solar system). Outside of school, she loves all things space, fashion, and crafting. Fun fact about her is that she loves to bake all things, but cannot cook for the life of her. Mariah is super excited to be involved with Kids Rock Camp for the first time this summer. She can't wait to make positive impacts on the campers while growing her own skills as a leader. 
Autumn De Vries - Autumn is a senior at Cornerstone University double majoring in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. She will be doing student teaching this upcoming fall. A couple fun facts about Autumn is that she is a professional photographer and a licensed cosmetologist. Some of her favorite things to do are camping, reading, watching the sunset, and spending time with her friends and family. She is so excited to spend her summer at camp! 
Ashley Klein- Ashley attends Grand Valley State University, where she is a freshman majoring in Elementary Education. Ashley has a strong passion for art and in her free time she enjoys any activity that allows her to create. She loves music, drawing, painting, singing, and reading. She loves spending time outside, traveling to new places, and spending time with all the people she adores. Ashley is extremely excited for her first summer at Kids Rock camp, and she can’t wait to get to know the campers and watch them and herself grow in their faith!
