Corey Baker- Corey is kind, caring, and compassionate. He cares about the work he does and how he makes others feel. He makes an effort to make everyone feel better, seen, and cared for. He brings positivity and good energy to the environment he is in through relationship-building and being relatable to everybody. He genuinely tries to understand others and make everyone feel good about themselves.
Taylor Wilson-Taylor grew up in Hudsonville, Michigan, and graduated from Hudsonville High School in 2023. She enjoys being outdoors, hiking, and spending time on the boat. Taylor is currently attending Mount St. Mary's College in Emmitsburg, Maryland, but she spends her summers in Hudsonville, making the most of her time with family and friends.
Jacob Gabrielse- Jacob grew up in Holland and attended Holland Christian through high school. He is now attending Calvin University and is studying physical education. He loves to play all kinds of sports and just be active. His favorites include soccer, volleyball, and pickleball. Jacob also loves to play board and card games with friends and family. He basically loves to do anything that involves interacting with others. He always enjoys meeting new people and laughing with them. Finally, his faith plays a big role in his life and he loves any chance he has to share it with those around him in many ways.
Abi Ediger- Abi is excited to return for her 6th year of camp as the Zeeland Site Director! She loves supporting the counselor staff and making sure that all campers and families have a great camp experience! Abi is a GVSU grad with a degree in Special Education. During the school year, she is a 4th/5th grade teacher at a regional center for students with Emotional Impairments in Wyoming, MI. In her free time Abi likes to rollerblade, read, cook out with friends, play pickle-ball with camp staff, and go to the beach. Abi also enjoys running youth basketball camps for a local high school. Camp is one of Abi’s favorite places to be and she’s looking forward to another summer filled with fun!
Emily Oldenberg- Emily's hometown is Gaylord, MI, and she has made her way to West Michigan after graduating from Ferris State University in 2023 with a master's degree in social work. During the school year, she is a Student Success Coordinator at an elementary school here in Zeeland. Emily loves to spend time outside, especially in the summer, and enjoys spending quality time with friends and family. She also enjoys reading and occasionally binge-watching Netflix when she has the time. Emily is passionate about working and spending time with kids and is very excited for her first year at Kids Rock Summer Camp.
Micah Kool- Micah grew up in Holland and attended Holland Christian through high school. After graduating Micah attended GVSU and got a bachelors degree in Physical Education with minors in health and history. He has been coaching football and lacrosse at the high school level for 13 years and is in his second year teaching at Holland Christian grades K-6. In his free time Micah is looking to do anything active. Whether it is hiking a new place or playing a sport, he likes to always be on the move. Micah also enjoys traveling, going new places and experiencing new things. His favorite spot is the pacific NW and tries to get out there every couple of years while sprinkling in new mountains to climb, rivers to kayak and places to explore.
Lauren Bushouse- All Lauren knew was West Michigan until she graduated from Holland Christian High School in 2021 and went off to study at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. She couldn’t love Liberty more, but stands firm in the belief that a mountain sunset will never beat a Lake Michigan sunset. This coming fall, she will be heading into her senior year, and will graduate in the spring with her degree in elementary education. Her heart for the Lord and love for people opened the door for her to serve as a community group leader for the weekly bible study on her hall. Her biggest hot take is that pineapple absolutely belongs on pizza (and pretty much everywhere else).
Ashley Cramer- Ashley grew up in Holland, MI and is a 2025 Zeeland East High School graduate. She plans to major in Computer Science this fall for her college education. In high school, she was a part of the Zeeland High School robotics team and was the Editor in Chief for Zeeland East’s yearbook. This past year, she also was the Head Mentor of two elementary school robotics teams through the recreational center. Ashley started at Kids Rock Summer Camp as a camper and was a junior counselor for all 4 years of high school. She is super excited to move up as a counselor this summer and spend time with all of the kids!
Josie Awe- Josie is entering her final semester at Grand Valley State University, studying elementary education. In her free time, she enjoys sports like basketball, pickleball, and track, as well as other outdoor games and activities. She also adores reading! Josie is excited to join the Kids Rock team and to get to know all the wonderful kids and staff as she prepares for her student teaching this fall. She can’t wait to make memories this summer!
Mishelle Bergsma- Mishelle will be a senior at Hope College this upcoming fall. She is a Health and Physical Education major for K-12 and will be doing her student teaching in Spring 2024. Mishelle is not part of any athletic team at Hope College but did play four different sports, volleyball, basketball, softball, and golf, throughout her high school career. In Mishelle's free time, she spends time with her friends and family but spends the most time with her dog Louie. Mishelle is excited to spend her summer working and helping out with Kids Rock and can't wait to get started.
Annika Vander Veen- Anika graduated from Holland Christian High School and will be a junior at Calvin University this fall, where she majors in Elementary Education. Anika loves spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, reading, and eating ice cream. She was also very involved in theatre for 10 years! This will be Anika’s first summer at Kids Rock Summer Camp. She is looking forward to a great summer of sharing Christ’s love with the kids at camp!
Emma Heyerman- Emma graduated from Hamilton High School in 2023 and is currently studying Speech Pathology at Calvin University. She is also running for the cross-country and track teams at Calvin. Emma loves to do crafts, hike with her family and dogs, read books, go to the beach, and hang out with friends in her free time. She is very excited to have a fun and faith-filled summer at Kids Rock Summer Camp!
Joshua Holtrop- Joshua Holtrop has been married to his wife, Maci, for three years. He holds a Marketing degree from Davenport University and a ministry degree from Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas, where the couple recently completed their studies. Joshua and Maci have a one-year-old son named Judah. He loves Jesus, sports, and serving young people, and he looks forward to getting to know everyone better.
Brianna Klunder- Brianna grew up in Grandville, Michigan, and graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a minor in Spanish in 2024. She then moved on and went for her Master’s Degree in Social Work, and is currently pursuing that degree at the University of Michigan. Brianna has numerous experiences when it comes to working with children, including working at Disney World! Brianna loves traveling, listening to music, watching movies, reading, and hanging out with family and friends! She is very passionate about working with kids, and absolutely loves Jesus! She is very excited about working at Kids Rock Summer Camp, this summer!
